Visiting the website and server logs

When you open a page, our server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the requested address, referrer, and browser and operating system as stated by the user agent. This is required to deliver the pages and keep the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where logs are written, we use them only to diagnose problems and fend off abuse, and normally delete them within 30 days.

The website runs on a server operated by us in the USA. Fonts, images and all other files are delivered from there; no content is loaded from third parties (CDNs, font, map or video services).

No cookies, no analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools and no contact form, so no cookie banner is needed.

Names in result lists and championship tables

The archive reproduces the publicly published result lists and championship tables of RV Witten in full. They contain fanciers' names with club numbers, ring numbers and results, exactly as published on bas-riro.de.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in documenting sporting results (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you would rather not see your name here, send us an email and we will remove or shorten the entry promptly.
